Rain Rain Rain!

Why hello there, Alex. :) Your rain bands look mighty fierce.

I opened my eyes
and looked up at the rain
And it dripped into my head
and flowed into my brain
And all that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.

I step very softly,
I walk very slow,
I can't do a handstand-
I might overflow.
So pardon the wildly crazy things I just said-
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.

Shel Silverstein

This is a poem that I often think of when I hear the rain falling against our roof. Rain is one of my favorite things, but I don't like many of the other elements that come with Tropical Storms and Hurricanes.

Stay dry today, if you can, my friends!
